I’m proud to represent the lush and soulful growing world of Vancouver Island, and to share my love for one of the quieter stars of the cutting garden: the astilbe. It may not shout for attention like the showy ranunculus, Icelandic poppies, roses, or dahlias we grow among over 400 varieties of flowers—but its feather-soft plumes are a textural dream, fresh or dried, and add gentle elegance to any garden-inspired floral arrangement or garden.
